The El Campo Independent School District announces its participation in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for the school year 2024-2025. All Students enrolled at the schools listed below may participate in the breakfast and lunch program at no charge. Household applications are not required to receive free meals, but alternate income forms may be distributed by the school to collect household income data for other programs that require this information. The CEP is part of the federally funded National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.

All students will be served breakfast and lunch at no charge at the following sites:

Myatt Elementary

Northside Elementary

Hutchins Elementary

El Campo Middle School

Because El Campo High School will not participate in the Community Eligibility Program, families will need to complete the Meal Application for Free, Reduced, and Paid lunch meals.

The El Campo Independent School District announces its participation in The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This program is an afterschool at-risk program to maintain the health and nutritional status for children to develop good eating habits. Although this program will be implemented at the High School and Northside Cafeterias, this program is created for all ECISD students.

The El Campo Independent School District and Myatt Elementary will participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP). The FFVP is a federally assisted program providing free fresh fruits and vegetables to children at an eligible elementary during the school day.

The goal for FFVP is to introduce to children the varieties of fresh fruit and vegetables, at an early age so that they can develop a taste for the different fresh fruits and vegetables.
