What will we do in Technology Student Association?
Visit https://tsaweb.org/ for basic information on the events you can enter. Some are individual events and others are team events. We can take as many as we want to regionals – the limits do not start applying until state. Pick a contest you will be motivated to complete and a team that will work well with you. We will have periodic checks of projects to make sure there isn’t anyone sitting on the sideline and not doing their part for the team. We will be doing fundraisers to help cover the cost of dues, materials, and travel for competition.
Regionals will be February 8-9, 2024 at Jordan HS in Katy.
State competition will be April 4-6, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas.
National competition will be June 26-30 in Orlando, Florida.
Community Service Projects:
Community is important, so we will have a couple of community service projects during the course of the year. These events can be as simple as collecting clothes for Blessing Cup to helping attack world hunger through freerice.com to making and sending care packages to our troops. If you know of a need through Scouts, your Church, or a community center, please let me know.
