Wednesday, May 13, is Physical day! From 8:30 to 12:30, doctors will be at the middle school to perform physicals for 6th-8th graders. Then from 1:30 to 4:30, they will be at the high school. Physicals will be $20 cash!

Requirements for a new physical:
All students who will be in their freshman year in the 2026-2027 school year and plan to participate in athletics.
All 6ᵗʰ-grade students planning on participating in athletics for the 2026-2027 school year.
All athletes who have been injured during the 2025-2026 school year and wish to participate in the 2026-2027 school year.

The Electrical Applications team of Cayden Baldwin and Liam Vasquez came in 6th place, and the Inventions and Innovations team of Jayvyn Fuentes, Noah Garcia, Sebastian Gonzalez, and Kadyn Moreno came in 11th. The crew also enjoyed a trip to the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco on the way and a visit to the statue of John F. Kennedy in Dallas. They are already looking forward to next year!

Students in the ECHS Health Science Phlebotomy Program are working to get their license to draw blood as phlebotomists, and they need your help. Each phlebotomy candidate must complete 30 successful venipuncture sticks to earn certification! Please help them out by volunteering.

All participants who volunteer to allow a future phlebotomist to “stick” their arm will be entered into a drawing for gift cards ranging from $50 to $250. One entry per stick! You can participate more than once.

Location: Building H at the high school, at the corner of Ave F & Ash Street.
