ECMS - Save the Dates! STAAR testing is just around the corner! Save these important dates: April 26: Grades 6-8 Reading; May 2: Grade 8 Science; May 4: Grade 8 Social Studies; May 10th: Grades 6-8 Math/Algebra I. ⭐All students will need their school-issued Chromebook charged and ready for testing.
Mrs. Bowling´s 8th Grade AVID class got to tour Texas A&M Corpus Christi this week and the Islanders were very welcoming! The students were able to see several campus landmarks, learn about student life, and even dine at the campus dining hall.
Then, as an extra treat, they went to the Texas State Aquarium where students learned about the Gulf wildlife, witnessed animal feedings, touched stingrays, and saw the dolphin show! ECMS Theatre Arts students participated in a Stage Lighting Scoot activity with rotation stations that reviewed the five stage lighting instruments, where each should be located in a theatre, and how to design a lighting plot with gels & gobos.
