Mrs. Bennetsen's advanced classes presented a mock trial based on The Tell-Tale Heart, where students took on the roles of either the defense or prosecution, examining the guilt or innocence of the narrator. The narrator claims he’s not insane, even though he admits to killing the old man because of his "evil eye." The prosecution will argue that the narrator is guilty of murder, using his words and actions as evidence of his intentions. The defense, on the other hand, will try to prove he was driven by madness and, therefore, was not fully responsible for his actions. Through this trial, students gathered evidence, prepared arguments, and cross-examined witnesses to explore the narrator’s mental state and motives.
Let's celebrate our Birds who have secured their spot to compete at the collegiate level!
Mrs. Daniel's 8th grade Principles of Arts, Audio/Video Technology and Communications class completed their unit on CAD software (Computer Aided Design) by designing interactive 3D homes from 2D floor plan drawings.
