
Back-to-school Shots by the Texas Department of State Health Services: August 5th, 9 am-4 pm at El Campo Middle School.
Vaccinations are available for Uninsured Children ($10 fee), Medicaid Children (No fee, but you must bring the Medicaid Card), and Uninsured adults ($10 fee).

1. Substitute Teacher - Applicants must have at least a High School diploma or G.E.D. and be able to attend a training session on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. There is no fee for the training session.
2. Substitute Nurse - Must have current LVN or RN License or current EMT Certification.
REMINDER: When hired, all ECISD employees are required to be fingerprinted for a Criminal History review. Fee - $49.00

This is just a reminder that the GIRLS Basketball Camp will begin on Monday July 15th.
1st-6th grade will be from 1-2:30, and
7th-9th grade will be from 3-5.
This is a change from the original enrollment sheet due to the hiring of a new basketball coach.

July 9th UPDATE: ECHS & ECMS summer workouts will resume on Wednesday, July 10th. All other student activities are canceled for the remainder of the week.

Congratulations to the ECHS Varsity Cheer Squad! They attended UCA camp at Texas A&M with over 30 other schools and 350+ cheerleaders. The girls brought home many team and individual awards!
Spirit Stick Winner, Top Banana Winner: for Spirit, Teamwork & Leadership, 2nd Place Cheer, 2nd Place Camp Dance, Overall Camp Champion 1st Place for Band Dance, Sideline, & Cheer.
7 were Named All American Cheerleaders: Angelena Solis, Addison Tompkins,Allie Zalman,
Jordyn Maldonado, Chesney English, Codi Klatt, and Bailey York.
Aubrey Orsak, also known as Ricky, received Mascot Spirit Stick, and Mascot Class Clown Award.
Addison Tompkins & Jordyn Maldonado received The Pin It Forward Award for leadership characteristics, chosen by staff and other campers. And Angelena Solis received a UCA staff application.

This achievement also makes her the first student in ECHS history to medal in this event.

The following Ricebirds were awarded the Young Family Foundation Scholarship at $2,000 per semester for eight semesters. Students were chosen for their leadership in school, service to the community, and dedication to their studies.
