Our athletes showed off their skills at the Special Olympics Area 22 Gulf Coast Bowling competition held in Texas City this weekend! They did a fantastic job of representing El Campo!

Practicum in Culinary Arts students received program information and took a tour of the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership at the University of Houston!
Five Ricebirds swimmers had times fast enough to qualify to swim in the meet in Flour Bluff: Evan Vasquez, Kaden Beal, Riley Wallis, Juliann Little, and Kate Chilton.
Riley and Juliann swam fast enough in the prelims to qualify for the finals on the second day where Riley finished 4th in the breaststroke and 10th in the 200 individual medley. Juliann finished 7th in the 50 free and 7th in the 100 free. Good luck to the swim and dive team at their meets this weekend!

Mrs. Zahn’s advanced Floral Design students created Thanksgiving floral arrangements, using a cornucopia basket as their container.
Did you know the first cornucopia was actually made from the horn of a goat? The word cornucopia means “horn of plenty.” The students did a wonderful job! Happy Thanksgiving!
