Over the past five years, El Campo Memorial Hospital has been a consistent supporter of the El Campo High School Health Science Program focusing on producing certified nurses aides, CNAs. Each year they have awarded TEN lucky students with scholarships!! This year's donation of $7,400 brings their total contribution to $37,000--an amazing help to the community and our program!! During halftime at Friday's game, Ms. Kacer and current and former CNA students wanted to show their thanks and appreciation for the support they received. The students presented representatives from El Campo Memorial Hospital with a plaque in recognition of their dedication to this program and our community. Representatives from El Campo Memorial Hospital are Kaycie Brown- MidCoast Medical Clinic Director and Samantha Cannell - Human Resources.

They were on the ballot with Alexis Crowell, Alyssa Stanford, Shelby Stary, Elizabeth Gallardo, Koy Kresta, Ryan Drapela, and Abraham Montes. Were you watching "The Vampire Diaries", "Pretty Little Liars", "Teen Wolf", or "The Walking Dead"? And, did you know all the words to "Royals", "Blurred Lines", or "Radioactive"?

Students in the Education and Training program are learning about intra-personal communication. They have an understanding that as future educators, how we speak to ourselves will eventually translate into how we speak to our students. To celebrate homecoming week, they each made a positive affirmation mum. Positive affirmations help build us up and improve our confidence, even when things are difficult.
