🎉Let's make 2023 the best year yet.
Horticulture students harvested their first round of broccoli and cauliflower this December, and there is lots more to come!
For the first time, we have three ECHS HOSA students moving on to Round 2 of competitions. We had two students compete in Home Health Aid and two in Nurse Assisting....only the top 10 in the area advance. Tori Biskup finished 5th and Adrian Cruz finished 7th in Home Health Aid. Elizabeth Cadena claimed the 10th spot to move on in Nurse Assisting. These three will compete in the Spring Leadership Conference in Clear Lake on Jan 27th. Please help me in wishing them good luck!
Advanced floral design students were busy creating festive Christmas arrangements this week!

ECHS Interact members delivered 84 fuzzy socks & ornaments to Garden Villa Nursing Home. Interact would like to thank the Activities Director, Joni Bain, for her kindness and support and Larry Livanec for being a good sport as he was our first recipient. These young ladies were then able to deliver gifts to some sweet residents while they were at lunch.
Mrs. Farrar would like to thank all of the ECHS Interact Members who donated: Addisyn Fisher, Hannah White, Lizet Soriano Salas, Lesli Avalos, Kamryn Till, Riley Wallis, Antonio Ramirez, Jillian Croix, Olivia Lutrick, Cindy Olvera, Kinsley & Kasey Cerny, Halle Braden, Natalia Reyes, Kaylee Horn, Layni Rawlinson, Emily Beechwood, Adrian Almeda, Maysen Manriquez, Bethany Baker, Melissa Barrera, and Zoe Schulz. Thank you all for your servant's hearts.
🎄We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
Congratulations to the Ricebird Band at the All-Region Band auditions. We are proud to announce we had 3 students make the All-Region Band. On Baritone Saxophone, Seth Mallory made 2nd Chair concert band. On trumpet, Sofia Mclain made 9th Chair symphonic band. And, El Campo High School now houses the 1st Chair flute player in the entire region, Gabriella Sardelich. Gabby and Sofia will attend the Area competition in Orange Grove, Texas, on January 7th for the opportunity to make the All-State band. Please give these outstanding students much praise and adulation! They have earned it!
