May is Mental Health Awareness Month!
You're probably wondering, "What is mental health?" The CDC says, "Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being." Your mental health affects how you think, feel, and act. Your mental health determines how you handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.

Today, we recognize and celebrate the hard work and contributions of the administrative assistants of ECISD! Thank you for all that you do!

Volunteers Needed!
Students in the Health Science Phlebotomy Program at the high school are working to get their phlebotomist licenses to draw blood as medical assistants. The students have all successfully performed a blood draw on their teacher and classmates. Now they need you to help them each reach their 30 successful venipuncture sticks to get their license!
It is a small stick just to practice accessing the vein. They will not collect more than a few drops, no tests will be run, and blood will be disposed of after the draw.
Family and friends nights are from 3:30-6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 26th, and Wednesday, May 3rd in H7.
All participants will be entered to win one of five $50 AMEX gift cards or one of 3 $250 Visa gift cards. The more times you let them stick you, the more your name goes in the drawing!
