Pre-sale tickets can be purchased this week at every campus office (Monday after lunch - Friday 11 am) or at the Athletic Secretary's office (Monday - Friday 8-11 am). You can also grab them at Ricebird Gym this Friday after the Pep Rally!

Every student in Pre-K at Myatt Elementary received a free book this month to take home and keep 📚
💗 The students and staff would like to thank all of the Scholastic Book Sponsors near and far who donated to allow this to happen each month this school year!
Myatt has curly shoe laces for $5.00 a pair while supplies last! Pick a color and you never have to tie shoes again. We are also selling RICEBIRD Brackets and EC Croc charms for $2.00 each.
Items can be purchased and picked up from the front of Myatt daily from 2:00-3:00.

Mrs. Ener’s class read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Chicka Chicka 123 this week and put the letters of the alphabet and numbers on the coconut tree. They explored letters and numbers and then put together their name to make a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom hat.

🏐 Game Day Alert 🏈 Tonight's home game lineup: 5:00 Varsity Ladybirds | 6:00 JV Ladybirds | 6:00 Freshman Ladybirds | 7:00 Ricebird Football. Friendly reminder for parents: Students, Grade 8 and younger, must be accompanied by an adult at Ricebird football games. Parents may not drop students off at the stadium without an adult in attendance. Students must be seated in the stands and may not roam. Students may be asked to leave the stadium with non-compliance.

Mrs. Janik’s class learned about germs - in a fun way! We put water in a bowl and added pepper to represent the germs. After the students dipped their finger in the "germs" we put Dawn dish soap on their finger and dipped it back into the bowl so they could watch the "germs" move!
Mrs. Phillips had the full attention of Mrs. Pustejovsky’s class while teaching them how to navigate the computer.

Reminder: Friday, September 1st is a Staff Development Day for El Campo ISD. Classes resume Tuesday, September 5th after the Labor Day Holiday.
Do you have an old instrument in your house collecting dust? Maybe you had a child that has long since graduated and given up playing their instrument? ECMS is collecting any used band instruments that you would be willing to donate to our middle school band program. We want all students who have an interest in music to have an instrument to play! We will be accepting donated instruments at a drop off location at ECMS cafeteria on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5pm - 7pm. Please share this information with family, friends and neighbors! Thank you for helping encourage a young musician.
