April is Autism Acceptance Month at El Campo ISD -
At El Campo ISD, we believe in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student is seen, heard, and valued. Autism Acceptance Month is a time to celebrate the strengths and individuality of our autistic students, staff, and families.
We're committed to fostering understanding, promoting inclusion, and embracing neurodiversity - not just this month but every day. Together, we can help ensure that all learners have the opportunity to thrive.
To our ECISD community: Thank you for continuing to lead with kindness, empathy, and respect.

Good morning - There is no truth to the rumor or the posts on social media related to an El Campo ISD student or employee who is infected with the measles. We have no information about the authenticity about a measles confirmation in El Campo. However, I can assure the public that there is no infection within the school district. - Bob Callaghan, Superintendent of El Campo ISD.

All participants who volunteer to allow a future phlebotomist to “stick” their arm will be entered into a drawing to win Visa gift cards ranging in value from $50 to $300. One entry per stick! You can participate more than once.
The days to volunteer are April 3rd, 7th, 14th, and 15th. The time is from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm in the H Building at the high school, at the corner of Ave F & Ash Street. For more information, email Ms. Kacer at kkacer@ricebirds.net.

School districts do not receive state funding for building schools or making major renovations and instead must use voter-approved bonds which help pay for large projects that get paid back over time, like a mortgage.
School districts in Texas have two budgets. Maintenance & Operations (M&O) funds pay for day-to-day operations. Interest & Sinking (I&S) funds pay for capital improvements. Funding for each budget is primarily provided by local tax dollars from property values calculated by pennies collected per $100 of property value.
