Ms. Rojas' 1st Grade Bilingual class at Hutchins began Hispanic Heritage Month on September 16th by dressing in cultural clothing and watching a video. Students then created flags representing their culture, detailing their favorite foods, music, clothing, and cultural aspects. They paired up to share their creations and learn about each other. To continue the fun, they will also explore and celebrate notable Hispanic/Latino figures in history.
