El Campo High School, with original construction from 1953, consists of 14 separate buildings that are not connected to each other. Students move between classes by walking outside, often exposed to rain and weather conditions. More than 50% of classrooms are undersized and do not meet TEA standards.
Proposition A includes a new academic wing with 14 classrooms, along with special education and life skills classrooms. Prop A would create more space for fine arts students and doubles the cafeteria capacity to serve 500 students. Learn more at https://www.ecisd.org/bond2025

Good luck to ECHS junior, Brady Pfeil, as he will be competing at the FCCLA State Contest this week in Dallas to defend the Culinary Arts Event State Title!

Mrs. Toya Matthews, Music Teacher from Hutchins Elementary, was invited to bring some students to perform again this year for Senior Citizen Day at the Wharton County Youth Fair. Second-grade students from Mrs. Prihoda and Ms. Rodriguez’s classes entertained everyone with their performance of country and western songs and lines dances that they had recently performed for their parents in their Music program.

Congratulations to the El Campo Middle School Bands on their outstanding achievements at the UIL Contest! The Symphonic Band earned superior straight one ratings in Sightreading, earning them a plaque. The Wind Ensemble excelled with superior straight ones in both their stage performance and Sightreading, securing the prestigious "Sweepstakes" trophy. Both bands' performances were a fantastic showcase of talent and hard work.

Proposition A includes new construction and renovations to El Campo High School and a new replacement wing on the Hutchins Elementary site, pairing it with the more recent construction, completing the full school replacement. The high school projects include replacing the kitchen and cafeteria, H building, C building and library, high school administration offices, counselor area, band and choir, AVS East building, wood shop, and replacing portables with permanent classrooms. The AVS West and A buildings will also be renovated. Learn more at www.ecisd.org/bond2025
