A Trustee for 5 years, Rich states, "I serve because I love El Campo and ECISD. Being on the school board is an opportunity to give a little back to a community and school district that have been wonderful to me and my family for as long as I can remember."

After carefully reviewing the weather and road conditions predicted for tomorrow, all El Campo ISD campuses and departments will have an on-time 7:50 am start on Wednesday, January 17.

🍎 Meet Board Vice President Anthony Dorotik ~
A Trustee for 12 years, Anthony says, "I serve because I have always felt it is important to serve the community, and have served on numerous boards through the years, but I have always believed there is nothing more important than educating our youth." Anthony graduated from Texas A&M in 1974 and pursued a career in agricultural production. He has raised cattle and farmed rice, corn, cotton, and milo for 50 years.


After closely monitoring the weather and road conditions, and in an abundance of caution for our students and staff, ECISD will cancel school on Tuesday, January 16. Be safe. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 17.


ECISD will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of MLK Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 16.

Each School year HOSA students have the option to compete in healthcare events. Alyx chose to compete in the HOSA researched persuasive writing and speaking competitive event. Her paper was chosen and she gets to compete at the HOSA spring leadership conference this weekend at Manvel High School. Let's send congratulations and well wishes to Alyx Fisher!

A Trustee since May 2021, David states, "My primary reason for serving ECISD is because I believe that students hold the keys to the future and that the staff of ECISD are the mechanism that set them on the path to success. I am pleased to do my part to make that journey a positive one."
David is self-employed in the areas of Facilities Management and Real Estate.
