TODAY: 4-6 PM - Students in the ECHS Health Science Phlebotomy Program are working to get their license to draw blood as phlebotomists, and they need your help. Each phlebotomy candidate must complete 30 successful venipuncture sticks to earn certification! Please help them out by volunteering.
All participants who volunteer to allow a future phlebotomist to “stick” their arm will be entered into a drawing for gift cards ranging from $50 to $250. One entry per stick! You can participate more than once.

Our athletes did a great job at the Special Olympics Area 22 Track and Field competition, held at Traylor Stadium in Rosenberg on April 18th! A total of 370 athletes competed from 20 different delegations.
Timothy Armstrong placed 1st in the softball throw and 7th in the 100m dash. Felix Saenz placed 2nd in shot put and 4th in the 100m dash. Hannah Weathers placed 6th in softball throw and 1st in the 50m dash.

The ECMS Technology Student Association kids worked hard and learned a lot at the state contest. The Electrical Applications team of Cayden Baldwin and Liam Vasquez came in 6th place, and the Inventions and Innovations team of Jayvyn Fuentes, Noah Garcia, Sebastian Gonzalez, and Kadyn Moreno came in 11th. The crew also enjoyed a trip to the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco on the way and a visit to the statue of John F. Kennedy in Dallas. They are already looking forward to next year!
