Congratulations to the top class in each grade level for having the highest attendance percentage for the past four weeks of school! These classes will have the Attendance Champs banner hanging outside their classroom for this month. Way to go Ricebirds!

All students in Grade 8 and below must be accompanied by an adult at the football game this evening. Parents are not permitted to drop off students at the stadium without an adult present, and the accompanying adult cannot be a high school student.
Students are required to remain seated in the stands and are not allowed to roam. Non-compliance may result in the student being asked to leave the stadium.

September is National Suicide Prevention Month – a time to remember the lives lost to suicide, acknowledge the millions more who have experienced suicidal thoughts, and the many individuals, families, and communities that have been impacted by suicide. In 2020, the U.S. had one death by suicide every 11 minutes. Suicide is a leading cause of death for people aged 10-34 years. In crisis call or text 988. #SuicidePrevention


Students in the Education and Training Program observed September 11th and learned about activities they could incorporate in their elementary classrooms. They started by listening to a story about 9/11. Then they made mosaic flags using tweezers to practice fine motor skills. #neverforget
