Your generosity and teamwork helped the Blessing Cup Storehouse by collecting the most non-perishable food items this year for Trim-A-Tree. Because of your incredible effort, Hutchins proudly won 1st place in that category! Way to come together and make a meaningful impact in our community!

Calendar Reminder: Students will have Winter Break from December 22nd to January 6th. Following the break, staff will return to work on Monday, January 5th, for 2 days of professional development. Students will return to the classrooms on Wednesday, January 7th.

The ECHS Student Council had an amazing Christmas Party with our Lifeskills students! 🎄🎅 They opened presents, ate breakfast, went Christmas caroling, and celebrated the Christmas spirit! The Special Olympics Area 22 Gulf Coast Bowling competition took place in Webster on December 6th, and our Special Olympians competed against 10 other school districts in their respective categories.

Huge thank you to Santa for making a special stop at Hutchins Elementary today! Every single student at Hutchins got the chance to say hi, and our kids lit up like Christmas trees the moment he walked in. The joy he brought was the real deal.
We are grateful he took time out of his very full December schedule to remind our kids that the season is all about wonder, kindness, and a little sparkle of fun.
Thank you, Santa, for making today unforgettable for our Ricebirds. You made hundreds of little hearts a whole lot happier, and we appreciate you more than you know!
