Ms. Rodriguez and Mrs. Harton’s second-grade classes wrote persuasive speeches on whether the War Hawks should declare war on the British or why merchants opposed it.
Ms. Rodriguez’s class outlined reasons for war, while Mrs. Harton’s class presented arguments against it. After sharing speeches with paired students from the opposite class, they took a vote to see if opinions changed, resulting in some students switching sides!

Mrs. Kacer's clinical class practiced their dental skills. Each student had to chew a plaque discoloring tablet and see areas that needed better brushing!
Kindergarten kiddos grabbed Halloween-themed picture cards and whipped up some spooktacular rhythms! Then, they jammed out with a variety of percussion instruments, turning their ghostly grooves into a monster mash of sound!

Linc Lutrick, Vice President of Prosperity Bank, spoke to Coach Smith's Economics classes and delivered some valuable information to many of the seniors. It was a great experience for all the kids. Thank you, Mr. Lutrick!
Mrs. Weathers' class explored the attractive force that magnets exert on both metal and nonmetal objects. The students conducted experiments to determine which items were attracted to magnets. They discovered that metal objects are drawn towards magnets, while nonmetal objects are not affected.

Mrs. Ener’s class had a presentation from WCJC Dental Hygienist students. They taught the class about brushing their teeth and good dental hygiene.
Coach Davis and Ms. Merta’s 6th grade Social Studies classes discovered what it was like during the Columbia Exchange. Students traveled from the old world to the new world and found goods, religion, language, and even diseases were traded. Mrs. Hopper's Health Science Classes learned about famous healthcare leaders and leadership skills in the healthcare workplace. After researching their assigned leader, they decorated a pizza box and "pizza" with all the information they learned and presented them to the class.
