🎉 The School Board had another great evening of celebrating our Ricebirds!
First, they recognized the 2022-23 softball team who earned the #1 national ranking from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for their “Team GPA Award”.
Then they recognized the 14 individuals who received recognition from the College Board. These students were recognized as Rural and Small Town Scholars, National Hispanic Scholars, National African-American Scholars, and one who received the National Commended Scholar recognition.

Students in the Practicum of Education and Instructional Practices classes worked on a children’s author study.
After researching their author, they created a file folder displaying what they learned about the author.
Northside Life Skills students are preparing for the annual Holiday Bazaar held in November at Christ Lutheran Church. They are working on an autism wood sign.

Over the past five years, El Campo Memorial Hospital has been a consistent supporter of the El Campo High School Health Science Program focusing on producing certified nurses aides, CNAs. Each year they have awarded TEN lucky students with scholarships!! This year's donation of $7,400 brings their total contribution to $37,000--an amazing help to the community and our program!!
During halftime at Friday's game, Ms. Kacer and current and former CNA students wanted to show their thanks and appreciation for the support they received. The students presented representatives from El Campo Memorial Hospital with a plaque in recognition of their dedication to this program and our community.

Mrs. Poenitzsch’s Culinary 1 students are learning the pan-fry method by making chicken strips!

🧲 Myatt had an absolutely electrifying day in science as they dove into the fascinating world of magnetism! 💡⚡️
Our curious kiddos were buzzing with excitement as they explored the power of magnets and discovered how they attract and repel certain objects. They were like little scientists, experimenting with different materials and observing the magical forces at work!
