Kindergarten GT students set up their own art 'exhibit' to show off and explain the elements used in their various artworks created during their Texas Performance Standards Project, "Do Your Part for Art!": studying the basic elements of art, artistic styles, and focusing on famous artists.

The following Ricebirds were awarded the Young Family Foundation Scholarship at $2,000 per semester for eight semesters. Students were chosen for their leadership in school, service to the community, and dedication to their studies.
We are honored to recognize Juliann Little, Grace Amestoy, and Jade Alquisira for their outstanding accomplishments. We are also grateful to The Young Family Foundation for their support of our students.




Ricebird Football Season Tickets will go on sale for previous ticket holders July 16-18 from 7am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Then again on July 22-25 from 7am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.
Season tickets will open to the public July 30-Aug 1 from 7am-12pm and 1pm-3pm and again on Aug 5-8 from 7am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. The last day to buy season tickets will be Saturday, August 10th, at media day. Tickets are $40 per seat for the season.

Grace will attend Texas A&M University to major in Agricultural Economics. Riley will attend Texas A&M University to major in Biomedical Engineering.

El Campo had 3 athletes compete at the State Special Olympics Summer Games Track and Field in San Antonio this past weekend.
Laura Baker won the Gold in the 25-meter assisted walk and the Bronze in the Softball Throw.
Felix Saenz won the Gold in the 200-meter dash, and 5th in the Softball Throw.
Summer Guthrie won Gold in Fundamentals.
